A powerful crime drama set on the streets of Jaffa’s Ajami neighborhood – a melting pot cultures and conflicting views among Jews, Muslims, and Christians – and told through the eyes of a cross-section of the city’s inhabitant. As their stories intersect, a dramatic collision of different worlds and the tragic consequences of enemies living as neighbors is witnessed.

Directed by Scandar Copti, Yaron Shani. In Arabic and Hebrew with English subtitles.

Introduction by Hadas Fischer-Rosenberg, Yavetz School of Historical Studies, Tel Aviv University; 2015-2016 Fox International Fellow at Yale University
